I had a great time making this box card! "le Vie En Rose" card stock from Close To My Heart really made it come together nicely! I used "Beloved Bouquet" stamp set and "Pretty Petals Flair" and the Art Philosophy cuts to match the stamps, with Pomegranate and Hollyhock inks. This is the card we'll be making at my January gathering!

Our October gathering will be on Sunday, October 18th at 1:00, at my house. Please check it out and plan to come along!!
At our September session, we had a lot of excitement over a project I have made in the past (see attached photos), and so we will make at least the "guts" of the accordion box on the 18th. I made a Christmas Cookie Recipe box and a Halloween costume box. In the Halloween box, you can see the tags that go into the slots for photos or journaling.
There are many options for the purpose and decor of the box, including any theme you'd like, recipes, books/authors, Thanksgiving dinner recipes, annual journal(each pocket would be for a month and could hold photos and journaling for that month), grandchildren, passwords, address file, a kind of family tree, etc. and any of these could become a gift for someone, which opens up themes of their interests! WHEW!!
oh, and you need to bring tape runner adhesive - strong like scor-tape, and regular; plus your papercutter, ruler. If you have a craft kit put together, it's always a good idea to bring it!
Thanks all! I hope to hear from you soon!!

I just got back from a great crop and came away with some cards with which I am happy! In the bottom photo, I have made the base of an envelope mini and have yet to embellish it. See the shiny, raised little red holly near the cardinal? I LOVE using Close To My Heart's "liquid glass" to give this dimensional effect. (it's also a wonderful quick drying adhesive!)
I'll be posting a couple you tube tutorial videos for these soon! In the meantime, come on over to my website : http://www.made4you.CTMH.com to do a little shopping for products and some creative ideas!!Enjoy your creative side and craft on!!
