Tea Bag Folio card

I made these folio style cards to hold 3 tea bags.  Confession: I forgot to put the ribbon under the cover cardstock so put it on the inside, under the cardstock base and I think it still worked out well.  Next time I'm going to try to adapt the folio idea to hold Hot Cocoa packets - and maybe a peppermint stick too!

More Christmas cards!

I love the Santa stamps in this Close To My Heart set!  And somehow, adding the stamp on the envelope just adds some festivity to the whole mail event!! Hahahaha! What do you think?

Halloween mini-album

Here's a quick little mini made with the Close To My Heart Cricut cartridge, "Artbooking".  What an awesome cartridge with tons of options! If you'd like to see more, you can go to my website to check it out and to order: .   These are just a few of the pages and the entire mini is made with cuts from the cartridge - oops - except the white circle on the front happens to be from Martha and has a wiggle piece to make the bats have motion!

December Daily for 2013!

I just returned from a weekend crop and am happy to say, I had a great time and made 3 solid projects!  The first, my December Daily, is a big switch from last year's 'Daily because this one is considerably smaller and dedicates a page per day.  Below are a few of my favorite pages, though I expect as I use it in December, each page will become a favorite!

Make-It-Take-It Card

Notice the cool corrugated cardstock on this! It came in a 6X6, DCWV pad with a variety of colors and you'll notice that it is thin enough to mail ! Bonus!!!

Two sassy cards!

I created these two cards from the "Laughing Lola" set from Close To My Heart !  It is really a fun set because you get matching papers, embellishments and a matching stamp set to make scrapbooking pages, cards or other projects! and the paisley and colors make everything look sassy!!
You can order this set, parts of the set and much more from the CTMH idea book on my website:

My hopes for:
a great time with friends,

Here's the set-up, but I had so much fun chatting and eating and laughing and doing a little show and tell, along with the Make-and-take, that I didn't take pictures during the party! :-/

Close To My Heart

New for me: I have become a CTMH consultant and, while I have used CTMH products and love them, I am totally new to the "sales" and promotion side of this hobby.  I hope to have links here for my CTMH site, as well as posting my multi-media papercrafting ideas and projects here.  Lately, I've been exploring inks, paint, gesso, collage, watercolors, etc. in my projects.  So please be patient with me while I gather the courage to share my first attempts, failures and progress!

long absence!!

Oh my goodness! I have not posted since December!!?? well, it's time to get back on the band wagon and get some new things posted!! I must get my photos organized to share here when I get projects completed.
I have had the great idea to start a new blog called "Re-Teacher" .  It will just be a place  to express ideas and observations from my experiences in education, parenting, and other parts of living.  It'll be for me, to get all these things out of my head without putting them onto other folks, unless they want to read the blog.  So! I guess I better keep up with the blog I already have before I start taking on another one!
